User ability to extend/renew hold online
Our users would like the ability to extend/renew their holds online. We currently extend holds upon request in the reading room but for off-site materials it would be helpful for users to be able to do this without visiting the reading room.

Allow creation of custom Activity emails or disable option in Customization Manager
In the Customization Manager, it is possible to create User, Transaction, and Activity type emails. However, the Activity emails are not accessible from the client once created. The only Activity email is the template.
These emails should either be made available from the Activity details or the option should be disabled.

ArchivesSpace plugin: add validation on checkboxes in list for user review
For requests coming from ArchivesSpace using the plugin, add validation on the checkboxes in the list for user review, so requests can't be submitted unless checkboxes are checked.

Allow staff to delete user images
There is currently no way (outside of the anonymization function) to remove a user image if staff accidentally upload the wrong image or a patron requests removal of their image. Sites would like the option to remove images (with tracking).

Allow multiple attachments on request record (like on user record)
Having the ability to upload multiple attachments per transaction would be nice. We don't use attachments specifically because we can't upload multiple items.

Ability to temporary disable patron services in Aeon
The site would like to be able to temporarily disable photoduplication service availability while the applicable staff person is out of the office. This functionality could be similar to something like disabling ILL services when the library is closed. Perhaps there could be a toggle option that would prevent the photoduplication form from being available to the patron during this time period, along with an explanatory message of the situation.

Have "Print Invoice" be Available from Grid
You currently need to open an individual request and click over to the billing tab in order to print an invoice for a duplication request. We would like to be able to batch print (the same way that we can with callslips) from any grid. Is it possible to add this function to the "Printing" buttons at the top of the staff client?

Ability to add custom field descriptions to SLInvalidFieldLength
The current message "The <#FIELDNAME> field has a limit of <#FIELDLENGTH> characters." refers back to the database field names such as ItemInfo1. This is confusing to users who don't know which field to correct because the default field name has been changed in the web view.
It would be helpful to have the ability to reference our custom field names in the Status Line messages.

Have requests associated with activities placed from the ERE form route to activity queues
Hi,
We noticed that when we place requests associated with activities from ArchivesSpace via the ERE form, they don't route to "Awaiting activity processing" We think this is because the requests are created before they are submitted, and the patron adds the activity information after the request is create in Aeon. We may be able to get around this with a routing rule . But for sites like Beinecke that route requests out of "Awaiting Activity Processing" based on activity type, it will be more complicated. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Expand routing rules to use additional tables
Many sites have different workflows for various types of activities. It would be useful to allow routing rules to use the Activity table.
An example would be for Exhibits. These activities often have additional workflow steps and are checked out for longer. It would be useful to use a routing rule to route activity requests for exhibits to custom exhibit queues.
Another example is to narrow the routing to a custom offsite request queue only if requests for a specific activity type should go to the custom queue.

Add a 'Do not ask again' checkbox to the Aeon client update dialog
Some sites are required to have all client updates performed by IT staff, which must be scheduled in most cases. It would be nice to have an option to disable to update prompt in such cases so that staff are no longer prompted.

Cancelling printing a callslip should also cancel the automatic routing to In Item Retrieval
Sometimes the Print Callslip button is clicked inadvertently, but if the user cancels the printing action, the request is still routed to In Item Retrieval. Staff have to then search for the request to route it back to its earlier status.

View notifications from transaction details on web
It would be useful to add the notifications related to a single TN to the TN detail page. Patrons could more easily correlate the notifications with the TN.

Add posting Notes support to the ERE Form
The current support for the ERE form doe not appear to support posting a new note to the Notes Table as is the case with the generic singular forms.
This request is to expand support for the ERE form to allow for posting notes to one or more requests from this form.2 votes -

Allow patron to cancel photoduplication order if they do not want to approve the invoice
When an invoice is generated in Aeon, it's made visible for the patron to approve in the web. But there is no option for patrons to cancel that request if they do not wish to approve the invoice.
