  7. Advance # of days to request - users signed into reading room condition

    My understanding is that in Appointments 2.0, the advance # of days to book an appointment and requests will be split into two keys. In an forthcoming Appointments release, is it possible to create a condition or third key related to users signed into the reading room?

    Our issue right now is that we have users who are in the RR who need to place requests for the afternoon paging time but they cannot because they are limited by the advance days limit - so staff have to ask researchers what they want, tell them to save for later, and…

  8. Validate fields in staff client

    A method to validate / require data fields in the staff client, but using separate rules from the web validation.

    We're starting to get too many entries where staff are manually entering data that is not consistent. Even just making a field required would be a big win for us (ie, Call Number)

  11. Add unique tracking entry when patron has downloaded electronically delivered file

    No tracking entry is added when files are downloaded from the user's account after photoduplication delivery. Add entry in tracking table to indicate file was downloaded and make visible in both web and staff client tracking tables for each transaction.

  12. Make cancellation and other status lines editable for payment gateway transactions

    The cancel statuses that display if a payment has been cancelled are not always clear to the patron. Sites would like to be able to edit these message, but they are currently controlled by the DLL. It would be helpful to move these to the HTML code so they can be customized as needed,

  13. Include "Notes" field when cloning requests.

    When a request is cloned either within the Aeon Client, or from the online platform, can the information present in the "Notes" field of the original request transfer into the new request? For example: our local/staff notes, which indicate unique item locations populate into this field. When cloning, these notes do not transfer, which impacts turn around time and requires staff to either look at and copy notes from the original request, or locate the material in our ILS to find the notes.   14. Allow users to clear all search boxes on dashboard from quick access toolbar

    Currently, each search box on the dashboard (users, requests, actviites) has to be reset/cleared individually or by clicking the reset option from the bottom half of the search button. It would be convenient to provide a "clear all" option from the quick access toolbar that would quickly reset all search boxes to blank.

  15. User ability to extend/renew hold online

    Our users would like the ability to extend/renew their holds online. We currently extend holds upon request in the reading room but for off-site materials it would be helpful for users to be able to do this without visiting the reading room.

  18. Login As should not default to previous account when user clicks Cancel

    The Login As option allows staff users to switch accounts, but can pose a security risk if a user clicks cancel as the client will revert back to the previously logged in staff user.

  19. Have the Site field set based on the staff user's DBC when creating requests from an Excel

    If a staff user forgets to include the Site value when creating requests from an Excel file, the Site is set to blank and the requests are not visible to staff. It would be helpful to have the Site value automatically set based on the user's DBC in the same way it is set when single requests are created in the client.

  20. Allow users in the Staff Manager to delete grid settings for multiple staff at once

    Currently, grid settings have to be deleted individually for each user in the Staff Manager. If a change is made to the layout template and grid settings need to be cleared, it can be cumbersome and time-consuming to select each staff person individually and click Delete Grid Settings. The option to select multiple staff and clear grid settings for all users selected would be preferable.
